About The Position

ANDRITZ Canada, a global leader in hydroelectric turbine generator units and the number one equipment manufacturer in Canada, is seeking passionate mechanical or electrical engineers for its Early Career Advancement Program – Hydro (CAP-Hydro). This program is designed to launch careers in hydroelectricity, leveraging over 185 years of experience in training top-tier engineering talent. In the context of a global energy transition, our hydroelectric innovation projects are highly relevant. You will be supported by experienced engineers from design to construction, acquiring unique expertise. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a bachelor's and master's degree in those fields
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in engineering
  • Keen interest in innovation and large-scale projects
  • Interest in hydroelectricity and its contribution to the energy challenge
  • Legal status to work in Canada is required

Responsibilities

  • Rotations in design, site installation, and integration projects
  • Engineering in turbines, alternators, auxiliary services, or dam gates
  • Participation in large-scale projects
  • Exchanges with young and experienced professionals to learn hydroelectric engineering fundamentals
  • Introduction to construction sites in urban and suburban areas and in the heart of large territories
