The associate sorts, packs, and processes prescription totes for shipment to local stores and assists with packaging and shipping-label generation for mail-order and specialty medications. The position also supports inventory management by unpacking, sorting, shelving, and cycle-counting medication orders, while maintaining first-in, first-out stock rotation. The role uses the central fill dispensing system and dispensing automation to support continuous workflow and daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety. It provides operational support to pharmacists on duty, maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment, and requires focus and close attention to detail during repetitive tasks. Suspected prescription errors must be reported immediately to the pharmacist on duty. The associate must follow central fill and pharmacy policies and procedures and comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Other duties may be assigned. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
