About The Position

Under general direction, the Center Supervisor oversees day-to-day plasma center operations to support efficient plasma collections. The role supervises center staff, communicates expectations, supports donor flow and retention, and helps ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and applicable regulations. It also contributes to recruitment, performance feedback, attendance and overtime monitoring, and operational process improvements.

CSL Plasma operates nearly 330 plasma donation centers in the U.S. and Europe. It is a subsidiary of CSL, a global biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, which employs more than 29,000 people. Plasma collected at CSL Plasma facilities is used by CSL to manufacture plasma-derived therapies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training.
• At least one year of supervisory experience with responsibility for overseeing the activities of others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day plasma center operations to ensure efficient plasma collections.
• Provide instructions, conduct meetings, and communicate performance expectations.
• Advise management on employee relations and escalated donor issues.
• Work with Group Leaders to facilitate donor movement through the center and minimize wait and processing time.
• Monitor time card reporting procedures, attendance, and overtime utilization.
• Conduct error investigations and develop recommendations for process improvement.
• Participate with management in recruiting and selecting center operations staff and providing performance appraisals and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• May assist with recruiting and selecting center operations staff and implementing marketing initiatives to increase donor retention.
