About The Position

The Center Supervisor oversees the general management of employees assigned to production areas at a BioLife Plasma Services plasma donation center. The role reports to the Center Manager and includes employee performance and scheduling, inventory control, operational efforts, donor concern resolution, and analysis of non-conforming events. The supervisor also performs tasks in the Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas. The work takes place in a fast-paced, friendly environment and involves potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, requiring prolonged glove wear.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
• Frequent bending and reaching.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Frequent lifting of up to 32 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception.
• Ability to monitor equipment from a distance.
• Ability to wear gloves for prolonged periods because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
