About The Position

The Center Store Clerk provides friendly and courteous customer service while stocking and maintaining products in the Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments. The position processes incoming products from warehouse and direct store delivery vendors, maintains store cleanliness and productivity standards, and follows company safety guidelines. Training is provided at the store level. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and available between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., including weekends. The role offers 20–25 hours per week.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be available between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. and on weekends.
Must be able to stock 50 cases per hour.
Must be able to work in a cold environment ranging from -10 to 40 degrees.
Must be able to push a loaded two-wheeler averaging 100–120 pounds.
Must be able to pull a loaded pallet weighing up to 700 pounds.
Must be able to pull a loaded stock truck.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work on feet for the entire 4–8-hour shift.
Bending and stooping are required.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Stock, straighten, and rotate products on shelves in the Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments.
Process incoming products from warehouse and direct store delivery vendors.
Read and understand shelf tags.
Sort damaged products for credit.
Operate a hand jack, power lift, and cardboard baler.
Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and the baler.
Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, the backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler, and freezer.
Maintain company productivity standards.
Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of store management.
