About The Position
This role works independently to display and stock products while contributing to the store’s financial interests. The associate helps provide a positive guest experience and complies with company safety and food safety guidelines. The work is performed in a typical retail store environment with varied temperatures and possible exposure to outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually low to moderate. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Retail or related experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
- Fill, rotate, and merchandise products on shelves, in cases, and on displays on the sales floor.
- Notify the manager when products or supplies need to be ordered.
- Become familiar with products carried in the departments and their locations in the store.
- Handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines.
- Maintain clean, attractive, and well-stocked departments.
- Follow personal protective equipment and safety guidelines.
- Follow food safety and cleaning expectations.
- Follow guest experience guidelines.
- Perform tasks in other departments as needed to support customer experience.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
