About The Position

The Center Cook prepares healthy, delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and snacks at a child care center. The role emphasizes nutrition and food safety to help ensure children are energized and ready to learn and grow. The cook also keeps the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly. Cooks interested in classroom participation may support teachers and engage in classroom activities, though this is not required. The position is full-time in Maineville, Ohio, with hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and no evenings or weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of food preparation experience.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification.
• Child and Adult Food Care Program (CACFP) experience.
• Interest in spending time in the classroom and supporting teachers.
