CDS Intern - Client Hardware Administration

Costco IT•Issaquah, WA
•$21 - $33•Onsite

About The Position

The Costco Digital Services Division is offering students currently enrolled in an IT or related undergraduate or graduate program a paid, 12-week internship during 2027. The program runs from mid-June to early September and is based in Issaquah, Washington. Interns must work in the office five days per week; remote and out-of-state work are not allowed. Interns are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses, and housing is not provided. Interns attend presentations by executive management and, at the end of the program, present a summary of their experience to management and peers. The Client Hardware intern learns about Costco locations—including warehouses, depots, business delivery, and Costco Logistics—by working with the Client Hardware Support ticket queue, resolving issues, and replacing hardware. The intern also supports the Client Hardware Administration team with projects and tasks involving endpoint management, vulnerability management, maintenance, and client hardware systems. The role participates in project intake, partners with administration team members, and documents requirements. The intern works with stakeholders and Client Hardware Solutions leadership to identify solutions that support business requirements, helps assess and test client hardware technologies and applications, researches and recommends changes, and learns security management practices and established methodologies. The intern also helps with project intake, status reporting, process documentation, and second-level support documentation. During the program, the intern is classified as an hourly temporary employee. They may be asked to interview for a level 1 position; if not selected for a regular position, the internship ends within a maximum of 12 weeks.
