Costco IT•Issaquah, WA
•$21 - $33•Onsite

About The Position

Costco Digital Services is offering a paid, 12-week internship during 2027 for students enrolled in an IT or related undergraduate or graduate program. The program runs from mid-June to early September and is based in Issaquah, Washington. Interns work in specific areas of Costco’s Information Systems Division, attend presentations from executive management, and create and present a summary of their internship experience to management and peers. Interns are responsible for their own travel and accommodation; housing is not provided. Interns must work in the office five days a week, and out-of-state work is not allowed. The Identity Security (IDSec) team supports services and applications across directory services, identity data synchronization, identity provisioning, federation, public key infrastructure and cryptography, privileged account management, and access policy management. The intern supports requirements gathering, integration, and maintenance of identity and access management applications, services, and processes. The role provides hands-on exposure to tools and solutions used on-premises and in the cloud, with a focus on ensuring appropriate access to resources. Interns are classified as hourly temporary employees for the duration of the program. They may be asked to participate in the normal interview process for a level 1 position. If selected for a regular position, their employment status will change to match that position; otherwise, the internship ends within a maximum of twelve weeks.
