About The Position
Reston Limousine is hiring a CDL Shuttle Operations Supervisor to manage shuttle operations and drivers while ensuring contract requirements and DOT rules and regulations are met. The position is based at the company headquarters in Sterling, Virginia, and reports to that headquarters. The supervisor will manage drivers from diverse backgrounds, address day-to-day operational needs, troubleshoot issues, and fill in for drivers when there are call-outs or vacant routes. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or B with Passenger endorsement.
- Valid DOT medical card.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a transportation setting.
- More than 2 years of CDL driving experience.
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicles, equipment, maintenance, and company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day contract requirements to ensure compliance.
- Manage drivers, including monitoring punctuality, route adherence, and dress code; reviewing driver paperwork and daily passenger logs; and addressing related requirements.
- Troubleshoot daily situations and develop strategic solutions.
- Fill in for drivers when there are call-outs or vacant routes.
- Motivate the team while ensuring a high level of service and compliance with DOT rules and regulations.
