About The Position
Reston Limousine is hiring a Shuttle Operations Supervisor for its Capitol Heights, Maryland location. The supervisor manages drivers and day-to-day contract requirements, ensuring contract compliance and adherence to DOT rules and regulations. The role includes responding to daily operational issues and filling in for drivers when there are call-outs or vacant routes. The available schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicles, equipment, maintenance, and company policies and procedures.
- Valid Class A or B CDL with Passenger endorsement and a valid DOT medical card.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of supervisory experience in a transportation setting.
- More than two years of CDL driving experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day contract requirements and ensure compliance.
- Manage drivers, including monitoring punctuality, route adherence, dress code, paperwork, and daily passenger logs.
- Troubleshoot daily situations and develop strategic solutions.
- Fill in for drivers when there are call-outs or vacant routes.
- Motivate drivers from diverse cultures and personalities while maintaining contract requirements and service standards.
