About The Position

Gerhart is seeking a CDL Field Service Technician with experience in heavy-capacity weighing equipment. The technician operates a test truck/rig to install, calibrate, and maintain weighing equipment in the field; troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues; and may lead projects and mentor peers on job sites. The role also involves identifying opportunities to improve customers’ operations and providing solutions.

Requirements

• CDL Class B is preferred; current CDL holders will be compensated.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• General mechanical or electrical background.
• Customer-focused mindset and self-starter attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in all conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and dirt.
• Familiarity with industrial service tools.
• Basic understanding of 120VAC/DC wiring.
• Strength, stamina, and ability to bend, crawl, and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
