About The Position

Gerhart is hiring a CDL Field Service Technician experienced with heavy-capacity weighing equipment. The technician operates a test truck or rig to install, calibrate, and maintain weighing equipment in the field, troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues, and may lead projects and mentor peers at job sites. The role also involves identifying opportunities to improve customers’ operations and providing solutions. Gerhart offers paid training and a structured career progression pathway. Requirements

• CDL Class B is preferred; current CDL holders will be compensated.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• General mechanical or electrical background.
• Customer-focused mindset and self-starter attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, and dirt.
• Familiarity with industrial service tools.
• Basic understanding of 120VAC/DC wiring.
• Strength and stamina, with the ability to bend, crawl, and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
