CDL Field Technician
About The Position
Gerhart is hiring a CDL Field Service Technician with experience in heavy-capacity weighing equipment. The role involves installing, calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial weighing systems at customer sites. The technician may lead projects and mentor peers, while identifying ways to help customers improve their operations. Requirements
- CDL Class B is preferred; current CDL holders will be compensated.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- General mechanical or electrical background.
- Customer-focused mindset and self-starter attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, and dirt.
- Familiarity with industrial service tools.
- Basic understanding of 120VAC/DC wiring.
- Strength and stamina to bend, crawl, and safely lift up to 50 pounds.

- Welding experience.

Responsibilities
- Operate a test truck/rig to install, calibrate, and maintain weighing equipment in the field.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with heavy-capacity systems.
