About The Position

Gerhart is hiring a CDL Field Service Technician with experience in heavy-capacity weighing equipment. The role involves operating a test truck or rig to install, calibrate, and maintain weighing equipment in the field, as well as troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. The technician may lead projects and mentor peers on job sites, and will identify opportunities to help customers improve operations and provide solutions. Requirements

CDL Class B is preferred; current CDL holders will be compensated.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
General mechanical or electrical background.
Customer-focused mindset and self-starter attitude.
Ability to work outdoors in all conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and dirt.
Strength, stamina, and willingness to bend, crawl, and safely lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with industrial service tools.
Welding experience.
Basic understanding of 120VAC/DC wiring.
Experience with heavy-capacity weighing equipment.
