About The Position

Associated Grocers is hiring a CDL-A Driver to deliver groceries throughout all six New England states. Drivers average approximately 300 miles per trip and make 3–4 delivery stops per day, unloading at each stop. Deliveries may involve pallets with docks or liftgates, two-wheelers, or rollers. The fleet consists of Freightliner tractors and refrigerated trailers ranging from 36 to 53 feet. Typical shifts are 10–11 hours, with start times between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. Hours must be flexible, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The position pays a base rate of $36.80 per hour, with overtime after eight hours of driving daily. Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Hold a current CDL-A license without restrictions.
Be DOT certified.
Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Successfully complete pre-employment drug testing and a background check.
Be available for flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Complete the required driving test if invited to an in-person interview; a driving record is needed.
Complete pre-employment procedures, including a background check, DOT drug screen, physical, and lift test.
