About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring a CDL Delivery Truck Driver to safely deliver building materials from the facility to customer job sites. Drivers follow assigned delivery schedules and job directives, document deliveries using the company camera phone system, and coordinate with a Delivery Material Handler to determine where to place and unload materials. The position may also include warehouse work, such as loading and unloading trucks. It does not require over-the-road travel, and drivers are home every night.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Complete pre-employment and random drug screens.

Nice To Haves

• Flatbed, straight, knuckle, and/or drywall boom truck experience.
• Semi tractor and trailer experience.
• Crane certification.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone at each job site.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule and all job directives precisely.
• Document each delivery step by taking and uploading photos with the camera phone system.
• Complete a thorough truck load check before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set materials and unload them.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide customers with an invoice upon delivery and collect the full amount due for COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials to or from trucks or into the warehouse.
