About The Position

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL Driver to deliver building products safely from the branch to customer job sites. Drivers follow assigned delivery schedules, document deliveries, and help ensure materials are properly secured and handled. The role may also include warehouse work, such as loading and unloading materials. It does not require over-the-road travel, and drivers are home every night.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Pre-employment and random drug screening are required.

Nice To Haves

• Flatbed, straight truck, and/or knuckle boom truck experience.
• Semi tractor and trailer truck experience.
• Trailer-mounted forklift truck experience.
• Crane certification.
• Hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work zone at each job site.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule and all job directives precisely.
• Document each step of every delivery by taking and uploading photos using the company camera phone system.
• Complete a thorough truck load check before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler on where to place materials and unload them.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide customers with an invoice upon delivery completion and collect the full amount due for COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials on or off trucks or into the warehouse.
