About The Position

Restaurant Technologies is hiring a CDL-certified Delivery Service Driver to operate an automatic straight truck (12,000–20,000 lb. GVW) on local routes from its Melville, New York depot. The driver delivers cooking oil to commercial kitchens, making safe, accurate deliveries and providing excellent customer service. The role includes connecting truck hoses to customer oil tanks to load and unload cooking oil, monitoring tank levels to avoid service interruptions, and using a company-issued iPhone and apps for route tracking, invoicing, and compliance. Drivers must uphold DOT, OSHA, and HACCP safety standards. Two schedules are available, each consisting of four 10-hour shifts starting at 4:00 P.M.: Wednesday through Saturday at $30.00 per hour, or Thursday through Sunday at $35.00 per hour, including a $5.00-per-hour weekend premium. Shift differential and overtime pay may apply. The position is also eligible for a quarterly bonus of up to $5,200 per year, with opportunities to increase base pay through weekend shifts, tenure, and level-up development programs. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A or B CDL with a Tanker Endorsement. The job requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, and twisting. Candidates are subject to DOT-mandated pre-employment drug testing and, after hire, random DOT drug and alcohol testing. A positive pre-employment result for any controlled substance, including marijuana, disqualifies applicants. The employer emphasizes safe driving and requires limited moving violations or PSP report violations in the past 36 months and no speeding over 100 mph in the past five years.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement.
Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, bending, and twisting.
Strong safety mindset.
Safe driving record: limited MVR moving violations or PSP report violations in the past 36 months.
No speeding over 100 mph in the past five years.
Pass a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test; a positive result for any controlled substance, including marijuana, disqualifies applicants.
Subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing after hire.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED (highly preferred).
Two or more years of CDL-regulated driving experience.
Bilingual.
Comfortable using hand tools and performing basic troubleshooting.
