About The Position

Restaurant Technologies is hiring a CDL-certified Delivery Service Driver to operate an automatic straight truck (12,000–20,000 lb. GVW) on local delivery routes. The driver delivers cooking oil to commercial kitchens while providing safe, accurate deliveries and excellent customer service. The role is based at the depot at 85 Herman Street, East Rutherford, NJ 07073. The schedule is Saturday through Tuesday, four 10-hour shifts each week, starting at 9:00 P.M. The position pays $36.50 per hour, consisting of a $31.50 base rate and a $5.00 per hour premium for the Weekend Warrior shift. Shift differential and overtime pay may also apply. The position is eligible for a quarterly bonus of up to $5,200 per year, and base pay may increase with weekend shifts, tenure, and level-up development programs. Drivers use company-issued iPhone apps for route tracking, invoicing, and compliance. They connect truck hoses to customer oil tanks, monitor tank levels, communicate with customers, and follow DOT, OSHA, and HACCP safety standards. Candidates must meet CDL, age, physical ability, and driving-record requirements and pass DOT-mandated pre-employment drug testing. The position is subject to random drug and alcohol testing after hire.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement.
Able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, and twisting.
Strong safety mindset.
Safe driving record: limited MVR moving violations or PSP report violations in the past 36 months.
No speeding over 100 mph in the past five years.
Pass a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test; a positive result for any controlled substance, including marijuana, disqualifies applicants.
Subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing after hire.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Two or more years of CDL-regulated driving experience.
Bilingual ability.
Comfort using hand tools and performing basic troubleshooting.
