About The Position

This position hires out of the Syracuse area and runs freight up and down the East Coast, allowing drivers to build a career without relocating. The role includes paid training for new drivers, starting with riding with an experienced trainer for 4 to 6 weeks at $850 per week. After training, drivers move into their own truck with a guaranteed $1,000 weekly for the first 3 solo months. The fleet runs East Coast freight east of the Mississippi River, primarily dry van with drop and hook and some live stops. Drivers can expect around 2,500 miles per week and home time every 2 weeks, with potential weekend options.

Requirements

A valid Class A CDL.
Age 21 or older.
120 or more hours from an accredited CDL school, OR 6 months OTR in the last year, OR 12 months OTR within the last 5 years.
No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
No major preventable accidents in the past 5 years.
No DUI/DWI within the past 5 to 10 years.
Ability to pass a DOT physical.
Ability to pass hair and urine testing.
Live within 200 miles of Syracuse, NY.
