CDL A Truck Driver - Paid Training for New CDL Drivers
About The Position
This position is for CDL-A truck drivers, including those with a CDL-A but no prior driving experience. The fleet hires from the Inland Northwest region and provides training for new CDL holders on real freight, with weekly pay starting from day one. Drivers will ride with an experienced trainer on real loads, earning $900 per week during training. Upon completion, they will move into their own truck with full pay, guaranteed at $1,000 per week for the first 3 months of solo driving. The job involves dry van freight with long runs and steady miles, averaging around 2,000 miles per week, with home time every two weeks. Hiring is open to drivers in the Spokane, Tri-Cities, Lewiston, and Boise areas.
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- 21 or older
- No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
- Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Live within 100 miles of a hiring city in the Inland Northwest
- For new CDL drivers: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school
- For experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years
Responsibilities
- Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads
- Move into your own truck on full pay once trainer signs off
- Drive dry van freight with long runs and steady miles
- Complete approximately 2,000 miles per week
- Be home every 2 weeks
