About The Position

This is an opportunity for CDL-A holders with no prior driving experience to join a western regional fleet. The company provides on-the-road training for new CDL holders, offers weekly pay during training, and guarantees a check for the first month of solo driving. The role involves hauling dry van freight across western states (west of the Mississippi), with drivers averaging around 2,000 miles per week. Drivers can expect to be home every two weeks, with dispatch available day and night, and weekend driving is anticipated. The compensation includes a starting rate of 50 cents per mile, $15 stop pay, and a monthly driver performance bonus, with average weekly earnings of $1,500.

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• At least 21 years old
• Completed 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
• Live within 200 miles of Troutdale, OR

Responsibilities

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads
• Move into your own truck on full pay once your trainer signs off
• Haul dry van freight across the western states, west of the Mississippi
• Drive approximately 2,000 miles per week
• Be available for day and night dispatch
• Perform weekend driving as expected
