CDL A Truck Driver - Paid Training for New CDL Drivers

About The Position
This position is for CDL-A truck drivers, including those with a CDL-A but no prior driving experience. The role involves regional dry van freight in 27 states, east of Colorado, excluding New England. Drivers will have the opportunity to train with an experienced driver trainer, move into their own truck, and earn a guaranteed weekly pay for the first three months of solo driving. The job offers a standard mileage pay scale that increases with experience, a monthly driver performance bonus, and stop pay.
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- 21 or older
- No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
- Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Live in the Richmond, VA hiring area
- For new CDL holders: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school
- For experienced drivers: 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Responsibilities
- Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads
- Move into your own truck on full pay once your trainer signs off
- Transport dry van freight in 27 states (Colorado east, no New England)
- Complete 1,800 to 2,800 miles per week
- Accept short haul loads with flat pay
- Participate in monthly driver performance bonus program
