About The Position
Service Transport Company, a member of the Trimac family of companies, provides bulk liquid and chemical transportation across North America. The Regional Owner Operator hauls MDI, MMA, and general chemicals, with primary destinations in WV, SC, NC, TX, MO, AR, TN, KY, AL, PA, and NE. Regional drivers typically spend 2 to 3 days per week out on the road. Dispatch is typically Sunday through Friday. Average weekly gross pay is $4,500–$5,500. Mileage rates are $1.80 loaded and $1.30 empty.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Current Medical Card.
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Tanker Endorsement.
- Hazmat Endorsement.
- TWIC Card.
- In the past 7 years, no driving violation involving consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances, preventable rollover, or fatality crash.
- In the past 3 years, no license suspension involving drugs and/or alcohol, record indicating disregard for public safety, major preventable accident, or two or more moving convictions.
Nice To Haves
- Tanker experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Transport MDI, MMA, and general chemicals to the listed regional destinations.
- Operate as a regional driver, typically spending 2 to 3 days per week out on the road.
