About The Position

This position is for CDL-A Reefer Drivers, including new graduates, offering paid training. Drivers will run dedicated reefer routes in five western states, covering areas from the Central Valley to the Pacific Northwest and Utah. The role involves navigating mountain passes and winter weather, with some customers having long live unloads. The company provides a supportive environment for new drivers, with planned loads and a driver leader available for assistance. New drivers will undergo a structured training program with a mentor before going solo in a company-provided truck.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• Class A CDL in hand.
• Recent CDL school graduate with 120+ hours, or 6 months of recent driving experience.
• 2 or fewer moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, hair test, and urine test.
• Live within 50 miles of Lathrop.

Responsibilities

• Run dedicated reefer routes between the Central Valley, the Pacific Northwest, and Utah.
• Navigate mountain passes and winter weather conditions.
• Handle customer locations with long live unloads.
• Complete assigned loads with pre-planned routes.
• Adhere to all driving regulations and company policies.
• Participate in a 4 to 6-week training program with a mentor, focusing on backing, trip planning, logs, and fueling.
• Operate an assigned truck after completing training.
