About The Position

This fleet is looking for CDL A drivers, including recent CDL school graduates, to haul refrigerated freight. The position offers predictable lanes, with routes primarily from Texas to Tennessee, Texas to Illinois, and Texas to Georgia. Drivers can expect to drive between 1,800 to 2,000 miles per week and will be home every two weeks, depending on their location. The freight is refrigerated and involves both drop and hook as well as live loads and unloads. For new drivers, a comprehensive training program is provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Possess a valid Class A CDL.
Completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school (for trainees).
Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
Valid license in current state of residence.
Verifiable work history for the past 3 years.
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
Military experience considered with a valid DD214.

No prior experience needed for trainees, just a valid Class A CDL and 120+ hours of CDL training.

Responsibilities

Haul refrigerated freight from Texas to Tennessee, Texas to Illinois, and Texas to Georgia.
Operate a Class A CDL vehicle.
Complete 4 to 6 weeks of over-the-road training with an experienced trainer if new to driving.
Manage drop and hook, live loads, and unloads.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
