About The Position

We are seeking a CDL-A Owner Operator for TransAm, currently hiring in the Wichita, KS area. This opportunity allows you to run under the carrier's authority or your own. We offer competitive percentage or flat per-mile rates, with fuel discounts and support programs available. To be considered, you must have a valid CDL-A and your own truck or arrange financing.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Minimum 3 months minimum of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
• Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) — no more than 3 minor violations in 3 years
• No DUI/DWI convictions
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
• No at-fault preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• Must own your own truck or arrange financing
• Must be located within or willing to operate in the carrier's hiring area

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle under the carrier's authority or your own.
• Maintain a clean MVR and adhere to all DOT regulations.
• Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• Ensure the truck is well-maintained.
