About The Position

Service Transport Company, a member of the Trimac family of companies, transports bulk liquids and chemicals across North America. The CDL-A Owner Operator Chemicals role hauls hazardous and non-hazardous loads on dedicated out-and-back lanes. Pickups are in Augusta, Georgia; Savannah, Georgia; and Martin, South Carolina, with destinations across 48 states. Drivers run approximately 2,000–2,500 miles per week, typically spending 2–3 days out at a time and then 2–3 days at home after consistently running their schedule. Loads return to Augusta between runs. Compensation is 68% of line haul plus 100% of the fuel surcharge, with weekly direct deposit. The posting lists gross weekly pay of $4,500–$5,500, accessorial pay, a quarterly safety bonus, and paid orientation. A fuel card and toll transponder are provided; toll expenses outside the transponder are reimbursed. Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
Pass the Trimac safety assessment.
Operate a 2010 or newer tractor.
TWIC Card required.
For the past 7 years, no driving violation involving consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances, preventable rollover, or fatality crash.
For the past 3 years, no license suspension involving drugs or alcohol, record indicating disregard for public safety, major preventable accident, or two or more moving convictions.

Nice To Haves

At least 6 months of tanker experience preferred.
Air/compressor equipment preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
