About The Position

Service Transport Company, a member of the Trimac family of companies, transports bulk liquids and chemicals across North America. This owner-operator role hauls hazardous and non-hazardous loads on dedicated, out-and-back lanes, with pickup points in Augusta, Georgia; Savannah, Georgia; and Martin, South Carolina, and destinations across 48 states. Routes cover approximately 2,000–2,500 miles per week. Drivers are typically out for 2–3 days at a time and can enjoy 2–3 days at home after consistently running their schedule. Loads return to Augusta between trips, creating additional opportunities for home time.

Compensation is 68% of line haul plus 100% of fuel surcharge, with weekly direct deposit. The stated gross pay range is $4,500–$5,500 per week. Additional compensation and support include accessorial pay, paid orientation, a quarterly safety bonus, premium mileage pay, an increased fuel surcharge, a fuel card, a toll transponder, reimbursement of toll expenses outside the transponder, business-to-business fuel and tire discounts, and a free monthly truck wash.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• TWIC Card.
• Pass the Trimac safety assessment.
• Use a 2010 or newer tractor.
• No driving violation involving consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances, preventable rollover, or fatality crash in the past 7 years.
• No license suspension involving drugs or alcohol, record indicating disregard for public safety, major preventable accident, or two or more moving convictions in the past 3 years.

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 months of tanker experience.
• Air/compressor equipment.
