About The Position

Trimac is a transportation company with an 80-year legacy, delivering products across North America. This role transports chemicals on over-the-road routes between various pickup and destination locations in the United States. Drivers typically cover 2,500–3,000 miles per week and follow a schedule of three weeks out and one week home. Loads include latex, adhesives, and hazardous and non-hazardous materials; most are pre-loaded, with occasional live loads. Compensation is $2.00 per loaded mile and $1.50 per empty mile, excluding fuel surcharge. Pay is issued weekly by direct deposit, and orientation and training are paid. The posting also lists weekly gross earnings of $5,395–$6,473, annual gross earnings of $280,000–$340,000, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
At least 6 months of tanker experience.
Pass Trimac's safety assessment.
Operate a 2010 or newer tractor.
For the past 7 years, no driving violation involving illegal or intoxicating substances and no preventable rollover or fatality crash.
For the past 3 years, no license suspension involving drugs or alcohol, no record indicating disregard for public safety, no major preventable accident, and no two or more moving convictions.

Responsibilities

Haul various chemicals, including latex and adhesives, as well as hazardous and non-hazardous loads.
Transport loads between various pickup and destination locations in the United States.
Handle mostly pre-loaded freight and occasional live loads.
