About The Position

NFI is seeking independent owner-operators for local and regional intermodal freight opportunities. Partners can operate with year-round freight, a steady schedule, mostly drop-and-hook operations, and opportunities from the Savannah, Georgia, port. The role includes weekly settlements of $3,400–$3,500, paid port standby time, and access to NFI’s privately owned chassis and trailer pool. NFI also provides an ELD and offers access to supplemental insurance programs through TrueNorth.

Requirements

• At least one year of verifiable tractor-trailer and port experience.
• A Class A license.
• A TWIC.
• At least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate local and regional intermodal routes.
• Transport freight through mostly drop-and-hook operations.
• Maintain a steady schedule moving year-round freight.
