About The Position

We are seeking a CDL-A Owner Operator for TransAm, currently hiring in the Milwaukee, WI area. This role offers the flexibility to run under the carrier's authority or your own, with competitive percentage or flat per-mile rates. Fuel discounts and support programs are available. Applicants must possess a valid CDL-A and either own their truck or arrange financing.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
• Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) — no more than 3 minor violations in 3 years
• No DUI/DWI convictions
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
• No at-fault preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• Must be located within or willing to operate in the carrier's hiring area
• Must have own truck or arrange financing

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle under TransAm's authority or your own.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• Ensure no at-fault preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
• Operate within the carrier's hiring area or be willing to relocate.
