About The Position

We are hiring recent CDL-A graduates for an Over-The-Road (OTR) reefer driver position. This role offers a structured training program followed by a solo driving opportunity with consistent home time. Drivers will operate assigned trucks, transport loaded and cold trailers across the East or Midwest, and handle pre-trip inspections and basic delivery procedures. The job involves driving during both day and night, with receivers handling the unloading process. Short hauls offer a flat rate, and drivers can expect to log significant mileage weekly, with potential for performance bonuses.

Requirements

Age 21+
Class A CDL
Recent CDL grad or 6 months of recent experience
No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
No DUI/DWI in 10 years
Must pass DOT physical and hair/urine drug test

One dog under 40 lbs allowed after training

Responsibilities

Operate assigned truck, averaging 1.5 years old, with automatic or 10-speed transmission.
Perform pre-trip inspections.
Check and maintain the reefer unit.
Drive loaded and cold trailers across the East or Midwest, including overnight driving.
Back into receiver docks and hand over paperwork.
Log at least 1,900 miles per week, often up to 2,800 miles.
Participate in a structured training program with a mentor.
Work weekends and holidays as part of the schedule.
