Columbus, GA Class A drivers are needed for eastern OTR miles, with the opportunity to be home every two weeks. This position offers a paid seat for new graduates. Drivers will train with a paid mentor before running solo. Loads remain within the eastern states, providing steady miles and familiar routes. The role involves OTR lanes across the eastern states, with a mix of drop-and-hook and live freight. Drivers are typically out for two weeks and then home for their reset. Planned loads and day and night dispatch are provided. New graduates with 120 CDL-school hours qualify for the training program. Upon completion of training, drivers receive full solo mileage pay. Drivers will be assigned a late-model automatic or 10-speed truck, approximately 1.5 years old, with 24/7 dispatch available.
