About The Position

Richmond-area Class A drivers are needed for OTR lanes that stay east of the Mississippi, offering home time every two weeks. Trainees are welcome and will receive paid training with a mentor before moving to full solo pay. The freight primarily stays east of the Mississippi, ensuring steady miles in familiar territory. Drivers can expect to earn between $1,200 to $1,700 a week, or approximately $62,400 to $88,400 a year, with a starting pay of $0.55 per mile, increasing annually up to $0.65 per mile. The role involves driving 1,900 to 2,300 miles per week, with an additional $15 per stop after the first. Weekly direct deposit is provided. The OTR lanes cover the eastern states, including both drop-and-hook and live freight. Drivers are typically out for two weeks and then home for their reset. Planned loads and day and night dispatch are available. For new graduates with 120 school hours, paid mentor training is provided before transitioning to a full solo rate. Drivers will be assigned a take-home truck that is automatic or 10-speed, approximately 1.5 years old, with 24/7 dispatch support.

Requirements

• Class A CDL in your home state.
• Must be 21 or older.
• New grad (120+ hours) or verifiable experience.
• Acceptable driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical and hair and urine screen.

Responsibilities
