About The Position

Trimac is a safety-driven transportation company with an 80-year legacy delivering products across North America. This owner-operator role hauls general chemicals across all 48 states. Drivers are dispatched for three weeks and home for one week. The position offers guaranteed weekly pay, weekly direct deposit, reliable freight, and steady work. The driver operates their own business with Trimac as a partner. Trimac will install and cover the cost of a pump and hose rack, which are loaned to the driver. The tractor must be a 2010 or newer model and have a PTO.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Current Medical Card.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
• Passport and TWIC required.
• Pass the Trimac safety assessment.
• Own a 2010 or newer tractor equipped with a PTO.
• Past 7 years without a driving violation involving consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances, a preventable rollover, or a fatality crash.
• Past 3 years without license suspensions involving drugs and/or alcohol, or a record indicating disregard for public safety; a major preventable accident; or two or more moving convictions.

Responsibilities

• Haul general chemicals across all 48 states.
• Operate an owner-operator business while partnering with Trimac.
• Follow Trimac's safety commitments and pass its safety assessment.
