About The Position

This position is for an Over-The-Road (OTR) driver with a Class A CDL. It is designed for new graduates or those with limited experience, offering paid mentor training. The company hires new CDL graduates and provides paid training, allowing drivers to earn from the start. The process involves a recruiter call to verify license, record, and school hours (minimum 120 hours required), followed by one-on-one training with an experienced driver. Upon completion, drivers go solo with their own assigned truck and receive full solo mileage pay. The role involves OTR lanes in the eastern states, with some drop-and-hook and some live loads. Drivers are typically out for two weeks at a time and then home. Loads are pre-planned, and dispatch is available 24/7.

Requirements

• A Class A CDL from your home state.
• Age 21 or older.
• 120+ hours from CDL school, or verifiable driving experience.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Must pass a hair and urine drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Train with a mentor, one-on-one, in the truck, with an experienced driver.
• Drive OTR lanes in the eastern states.
• Handle both drop-and-hook and live loads.
• Be out on the road for approximately two weeks at a time, then return home.
• Accept pre-planned loads.
• Be available for dispatch assistance day and night.
