About The Position

We are hiring CDL-A Local Yard Shuttle Drivers in Phoenix, Arizona to support a busy bakery distribution operation. This position combines local shuttle driving, yard hostling, and occasional local deliveries while offering dependable work, supportive management, and opportunities for additional earnings. Drivers operate modern local equipment including liftgate trailers, dry van trailers, and bread carts/rolling bread trays. The operating area is approximately a 7-mile shuttle route within the local Phoenix, Arizona operation, ensuring drivers are home every day. This position is ideal for drivers who enjoy staying active throughout the workday.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 Months of Recent CDL-A Tractor-Trailer Experience
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift
• Comfortable operating liftgate equipment
• Ability to safely perform trailer backing and yard movements
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible schedules

Responsibilities

• Shuttle trailers between the bakery and nearby distribution center.
• Perform yard hostling duties at both facilities.
• Seal and secure trailers before transport.
• Maintain trailer movement throughout the shift.
• Complete occasional local deliveries when needed.
• Unload bread trays and rolling bread carts using liftgate equipment.
