About The Position

This local shuttle and yard-driving role moves trailers between a bakery and a distribution center located 7 miles apart in the Phoenix area. Drivers shuttle trailers, hostle in the yard, and seal and secure trailers. The position also involves handling bread trays and carts, including manually unloading bread stacked on wheeled racks. Trailers have lift gates. Drivers are home daily. Pay starts at $21.00 per hour, and most drivers average about $1,300 per week, or roughly $67,600 per year.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Either 6 months of OTR experience after training within the last 12 months, or 12 months of experience in the past 5 years.
• Live within 50 miles of the hub.
• Pass urine and hair follicle drug screening.
