About The Position

Sysco is hiring dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload and deliver products—including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies—to customer locations on assigned routes. Drivers build customer relationships through a positive, friendly attitude and learn customers’ operations to meet their needs and expectations. Most Driver Trainees have daily routes and are home nightly. The posting advertises a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 and yearly earnings of up to $105,000. Compensation is listed as $10.00–$48.00; actual pay may depend on skills, experience, and other factors, and employees may be eligible for the company’s incentive plan.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Pass employment testing.
Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) and have a driving record that meets company insurability standards.
Be able to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports and records.
Be able to lift, push, or move products averaging 40–60 pounds and weighing up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
Be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

One year of customer delivery experience.
