About The Position

This is a union position with McDonald's largest supply chain partner worldwide. The CDL Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our customers, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicles, and operating a commercial motor vehicle safely and professionally. The role also involves securely operating powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment, picking up returned products and payments, and completing necessary paperwork. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Must be 21 years old
Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience
Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds
Must be able to work any shift, weekend, OT and Holidays
Must be comfortable delivering throughout the 5 boroughs
Must be able to push, pull, lift and climb

High School Diploma or General Education Degree

Responsibilities

Unloading and delivering products to customers
Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
Safely and professionally operating a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts
Securely operating powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
Picking up returned products including payments and pallets
Completing delivery and pick up paperwork
Other duties as assigned
