CDL-A Entry Level Driver - Paid Training - Home Weekly Store Routes
About The Position
Drive dedicated store routes for one retail customer across New York City, New Jersey, and Connecticut. The account offers paid training for new CDL drivers, with 4 to 6 weeks of mentorship before drivers operate solo. Routes are round trips, and drivers are home weekly and may pass through home more often as routes allow. Day and night shifts are available, and routes include deliveries inside New York City's five boroughs, which pay an additional $75 per delivery. Average weekly gross pay is $1,700 to $2,000 at $0.85 to $0.90 per mile, with about 2,100 miles per week. Training pay is $650 per week. After orientation and mentorship, drivers receive an assigned truck averaging about 1.5 years old. Orientation lasts no more than two days; hotel costs are covered, bus-ticket costs are reimbursed, and a $300 payment is provided once hired. Benefits begin on day 31.
Requirements
- Class A CDL.
- At least 21 years old.
- 120 hours of CDL school or 6 months of recent experience.
- Up to 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
- No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
- Pass a DOT physical and hair and urine drug tests.
