About The Position

Contract Lumber is hiring a CDL-A Truck Driver for local delivery runs in Clinton, South Carolina. Drivers are home every night. Recent graduates are welcome. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday on a flexible first shift, for 40 hours per week, with the ability to work overtime when needed. Pay is $24–$26 per hour, based on experience.

The driver loads, secures, and delivers materials; checks load accuracy; performs DOT-required delivery vehicle inspections; maintains required paperwork; and ensures loads are safely secured before leaving the yard or a job site. The role also involves clear communication with employees, management, and customers. Requirements

• Hold a CDL-A license.
• Have a driving record that meets current DOT regulations.
• Be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Have a great attitude and be a team player.
• Be hardworking, responsible, and motivated.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to learn to operate a Piggyback or Princeton forklift.
