About The Position

Contract Lumber is hiring an EWP Saw Operator in Clinton, South Carolina. The role processes materials using an EWP saw, assists with preparing loads for transport, and places materials in the job staging area. The operator also helps maintain a clean and safe work environment and identifies equipment maintenance needs. Other duties may be assigned by management.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday on a flexible first shift, for 40 hours per week, with the ability to work overtime when needed. Pay is $18–$20 per hour, based on experience. Requirements

• Be able to continuously handle an average of 55 pounds at any given time.
• Be able to repeatedly bend, stoop, turn, stretch, push, and/or pull materials such as I-joists and LVL/LSL beams.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods.
• Satisfactorily complete Contract Lumber’s forklift certification program.
• Be able to tolerate work environments with extreme temperatures.
• Be able to read a tape measure and complete basic math problems.
• Communicate well with others.
• Be hardworking, motivated, and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Safely process materials through an EWP saw.
• Assist with building loads for transport.
• Place materials in the job staging area.

• Identify needed maintenance on equipment.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
