South Metro OKC drivers are needed for Over-The-Road (OTR) miles east of Denver, with no Northeast routes. Paid training is available for new CDL holders. The runs are similar to OTR but operate within a set zone, preventing drivers from being sent to all locations. Recent CDL graduates will train with a paid mentor before driving solo. Drivers can expect to earn $800 a week during training, a guaranteed $1,000 a week for the first 3 months solo, and $1,200 to $1,800 a week once fully solo, with an average of 1,800 to 2,400 miles per week. Additional pay includes $15 per stop, and weekly direct deposit is provided. The routes cover areas east of Denver, excluding the Northeast, and involve drop and hook, live loads, and preloads. Drivers are typically home every two to three weeks. New drivers often ask about home time, CDL school hour requirements (120 hours or more), and backing practice. The company assures that new drivers will have ample practice with a mentor. Orientation is paid, with hotel and bus ticket reimbursement, and a $300 bonus upon hiring. A minimum weekly guarantee of $1,000 is provided for the first three months solo. After applying, a recruiter will contact applicants the same business day to review their license and record. Orientation lasts at most 2 days, with covered hotel and reimbursed bus ticket, plus a $300 bonus. Training involves 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor, paid at $800 per week, covering backing, logs, fueling, and trip planning. Upon completion, drivers receive an assigned truck, typically about 1.5 years old. The first three months solo guarantee a minimum weekly pay of $1,000.
