NIS Express is now accepting applications from entry level CDL-A drivers in Conyers, GA. If you hold a valid Class A CDL and recently completed truck driving school, this is your next step. Training involves being assigned a personal trainer for 3 to 5 weeks, running real freight on real routes, with evaluations along the way. Drivers are paid throughout the training period. The training covers safe Class A tractor-trailer operation, ELD operation and hours-of-service compliance, pre and post-trip inspection procedures, and dispatch communication and company road procedures. On the job, drivers will operate a Class A tractor-trailer within DOT regulations, haul no-touch dry van freight with approximately 70% drop and hook loads, hit delivery windows, maintain on-time performance, keep ELD logs and trip paperwork accurate, complete vehicle inspections, and maintain professional contact with dispatch and customers.
