About The Position

American Driver is hiring CDL A drivers in Simpsonville, SC. This is a straightforward opportunity with paid training and consistent freight, ideal for those looking to build a career in trucking. The role involves dry van, no-touch freight, primarily on Eastern OTR lanes. Drivers can expect consistent year-round freight and will be assigned modern Freightliner or Kenworth trucks equipped with APUs. The position offers planned home resets every two weeks.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Completed a minimum of 120 hours of instruction from an accredited CDL school.
• No major violations in the last 3 years.
• No DUI in the last 5 years.
• Must pass urine and hair follicle drug test.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A CDL vehicle.
• Transport dry van, no-touch freight.
• Complete approximately 60% drop and hook loads.
• Drive 2,200–2,500 miles per week on Eastern routes.
• Adhere to ELD and HOS regulations.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Accept day and night dispatch as needed.
• Participate in paid training with a dedicated mentor for 4-6 weeks.
• Handle live freight from day one of training.
