About The Position

American Driver is looking for CDL A drivers based in Tallahassee, FL. This is a full-time W2 position with paid training for drivers who are ready to get started. After training, solo pay starts at $0.56 CPM. Drivers can expect no-touch dry van freight, heavy drop and hook (around 60% of runs), and 2,200–2,500 miles per week on consistent Eastern routes with minimal downtime. There is a mix of day and night dispatch. Drivers will earn $0.56–$0.65 CPM depending on experience, with most drivers taking home $1,200–$1,500 weekly, plus stop, layover, and breakdown pay. Pay reviews occur every six months. Drivers will receive $300 orientation pay and direct deposit every week. Home time is consistent every two weeks, scheduled in advance. Equipment includes late-model Freightliner or Kenworth trucks (2022–2025), each equipped with an APU.

Requirements

• Class A CDL, must be 21 or older.
• Completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school.
• No serious violations in the past 3 years.
• No DUI within the last 5 years.
• Must pass pre-employment urine and hair follicle drug screening.

Responsibilities
