About The Position

American Driver is hiring in McDonough, GA for CDL A Drivers looking to build a career in trucking. This position offers consistent miles and weekly pay on Eastern OTR lanes. The role involves dry van, no-touch freight with approximately 60% drop and hook, running 2,200–2,500 miles per week. Dispatch is available day and night. Drivers can expect to be home every two weeks on a planned, consistent schedule. The company provides assigned Freightliner or Kenworth trucks (2022–2025) equipped with APUs.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, age 21+.
• Graduates of an accredited CDL program with at least 120 hours of instruction are eligible for our paid training program.
• No major violations in the last 3 years.
• No DUI in the last 5 years.
• Must pass urine and hair follicle drug test.

• Experience is not required beyond CDL for the paid training program.

Responsibilities

• Run Eastern OTR lanes with consistent miles.
• Transport dry van, no-touch freight.
• Perform approximately 60% drop and hook operations.
• Drive 2,200–2,500 miles per week.
• Accept day and night dispatch depending on load.
• Adhere to ELD and HOS regulations.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections.
